Never had to pay a dime under basic dental insurance. And they did panoramic for free on first visit in addition to X-rays just so they didn’t miss something with wisdom teeth. Most insurances cover biannual cleaning and annual X-rays.

So it is your genuine reading of that rule that someone can leave for 1 second and then come back because that falls within your dictionary-words-only reading of the policy? Or is there a chance that, in general, policies require the smallest amount of interpretation to see how it would make sense in the real world? Or are you just being a contrarian for fun? If not one second, how long? How can you determine that with it not being written in the policy? With the complete lack of guidance about "how long you're allowed to be away", only "per day" makes sense. There is no other way to read it.

Thirding Polished Dental Morningside.

I don't have any anxiety issues or dental fears - so no comment on that side of things - but for anyone else looking for Pittsburgh dentists, I've found them to be fantastic. Clear communication, friendly and tech savvy. A lot of the old school offices around here aren't well integrated with websites, email and texts.

Yikes! I had no idea about Greg (thanks for the link). It's been a while since I've been in - I'm glad it's still operating (I've been buying stuff from them as far back as when they were in their old location on Penn before they got the big store across from the Greyhound terminal.

I may give them a try - can't hurt to see what they'd be willing to do in trade.

What you said doesn't make mathematical sense. Fractions can't increase if the numerator goes down and the denominator goes up.

> Yes, the raw number of derailments is down. But that's not a very useful statistic. They're running more miles than ever as the economy continually grows

If they're running more miles than ever, and the number of derailments is down, then the derailments per mile has to be down too.

Last call 1:30 (Rivers choice, not mandated before 2AM). All drinks off floor by 2AM or 2:15AM(I don't remember). Security starts walking around telling you to finish it or toss it. I believe they start back up at 7AM.

The casino can buy a license to serve 24/7. I don't believe any casino in the state has done so. Reference: https://www.abc27.com/news/the-states-casinos-snub-new-law-allowing-24-7-alcohol-sales/

Are there many add ons to the basic care at polished dental? The last time I went to the dentist, it wasn't the annual x-ray visit and I didn't have cavities or anything. Somehow my basic visit involved $80 in addition to what insurance covers. Apparently they code the time the dental hygienist cleans your teeth separately from the dentist inspection, separate from the cleaning, so it allowed additional charges. I was a little annoyed that places are suddenly charging what used to be standard care on a dental visit, as extras.
