I started in my 20’s. It is a good place to get experience and build your resume. He can always hop over to PNC or another financial institution in the area if he decides it’s not a good fit!

The idea of a "good school" is sort of a myth. Universities generate pieces of paper that are more or less treated as commodities in the real world. The main reason to pay more for one piece of paper over another is the networking opportunities that might come with the more expensive piece of paper, if you're into making friends with rich failsons.

As far as actual learning outcomes (which have little to do with the piece of paper), that is more about the department you study in, your class schedule, and the specific professors you have. One department might be amazing, but the next might be an incompetent circus. The idea of ranking entire universities irrespective of area of study is a scam. Single departments at relatively large universities are subject to massive changes in educational quality if even 2-3 good professors decide to retire or otherwise leave.

Just to make something clear even though I feel that the person that posted this complaint is an overreactive person that is a conspiracy theory nutcase. Audio recordings without proper notification are illegal and Texas Roadhouse is not recording anybody's conversation. No corporation is dumb enough to do this because it would open them up to a major lawsuit and criminal charges for the person or persons that authorized the use of audio recording devices. Now if there are signs or another form of notification that clearly state that audio is being recorded and you still choose to enter the establishment then you are giving consent to be recorded.

Yes, the email says “starting the week of April 10, employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days per week.” Interested to see if the policy will change! I could be wrong but right now I think it says “2-3 days in office for flex employees”

This article from 2021 says:

> Pittsburgh's Imagination Library launched in February 2019 and is funded through Dolly Parton's national initiative, the Benter Foundation, Hillman Family Foundation, and McAuley Ministries.

Originally, it was only funded through "a $250,000 grant from the Benter Foundation".

So funding probably just dried up.

My department is moving from Grant to Ross in the next month or two. We have been told it will be “hotel” style seating- there are not enough desks for every person in the department, and no one will be assigned a personal desk. Essentially first come, first served. Someone brought up the issue of insufficient seating in a town hall meeting yesterday and the Chief Administrative Officer, Alejandro Perez, stated that there are “alternative seating options” like couches and conference rooms lol. So if you get there and there is no desk available (each has 2 monitors, a mouse, and keyboard) then you are out of luck and can sit on a couch or in a conference room on your laptop for the day.

Well, a murder just happened in the apartment building I rented at for 3 years. I moved out because there were drug deals going down in the parking lot from people that didn't live in my building and my car got broken into and packages constantly stolen. That was on sailor place.
