Hi OP, did you check the area for any other kittens? Sometimes going out with a can of cat food can bring them out. Thank you for helping him!

My roommate did! We couldn’t find any additional kittens or momma cat near by- my neighborhood has several strays and feral cats around and we keep an eye on them generally but this lil guy was alone

If he has a respiratory infection, he may have had trouble keeping up with his family and momma left him behind. Mother cats tend to ignore or abandon sick ones. My 8 month old kitten was also found abandoned on the side of the road with a respiratory infection and goopy eyes early summer in Scituate. She’s thriving now :)

Thank you!! That’s what we figured— that or the others also weren’t doing well and he was the one who made it! Either way he’s a lil survivor and I’m so thankful he was found and we can help him!!!
