If an OT recommends a chiropractor, I’d find a new OT.

It’s something that was mentioned in training. It was an idea for the new year. I don’t have more details. However, I can talk to her, or you could call PPY and ask what classes would be appropriate. Maybe some interest would get gears moving forward….

Thank you! Is the 6 week program already going on? Or it’s some she talked about implementing in the future?

I’m 43f and in a yoga teacher training at Providence Power Yoga. I highly recommend the studio! Wonderful, informed teachers. PM if you’d like to chat.

I am in the teacher training program at Providence Power Yoga. I can highly recommend this studio. JoEllen is the owner, and talked about a 6 ish week beginners series. Otherwise there are definitely some classes there with amazing teachers who can help!!! You can PM if you’d like to chat. 🙏

Occupational therapist here. Definitely go to a chiropractor. PTs can work on back and neck stuff but they focus more on walking and ambulating.

There are lots of great and active Buy Nothing Facebook groups in Providence. I have unloaded almost all of my baby stuff there!

First time driving with a bike rack. The bike and rack are not expensive but it’s all I got. And I haven’t been to that neighborhood before. Honestly, I wouldn’t be doing this if my bike didn’t need some maintenance.

You will be constantly disappointed if you expect people to follow civil norms in New England. I'm also pretty sure that they can find a spot to unload their bike and take 15 minutes in the shop without blocking the driveway.

There’s a sign saying “do not park in driveway”. It’s not just parking for dash, there an apartment building back there, and the parking for the building to the left of Dash.

Odd. It's a lot of the same folks who have had a hand in running the city at some point in the past eight years. Not as much of a break with Elorza as the campaign made it out to be, in that respect.

Iyengar Yoga Source. Thoughtful yoga for beginners and those with injuries.

Ellen McNally at PVD Chiropractic is great. She's certified in active release techniques and specializes in treatment for athletes, so she's not a "woo woo" chiropractor. She'll also assign you physical therapy exercises and stretches.
