The point is to lose patients and have them decline your care? Are you sure you went to OT school?

Major red flag considering you’re a healthcare professional.
Chiropractors are a step above witch doctors👎🏻

Performance Physical Therapy has a lot of locations across RI. Have used them twice for a spinal and pelvic injury - would recommend.

Definitely valid. I'm hoping for the best, but yeah seems curious.
I think providence is deceptively simple to outsiders, but thats just the tip of an iceberg where there is a lot of intricate moving parts behind the scenes.
A rube goldberg machine that resembles it's convoluted road system, lmao

I guess, but media and his campaign often presented him as the candidate who represented the most significant change from the Elorza administration. Plus, it's not clear to me that the folks who staffed Elorza set Elorza up for the best success. So it's sort of odd to see all these people who were part of Elorza's early days return, while other experienced folks overseeing current projects are being axed.
I will say I find all three of the new appointments highlighted in this release a little head-scratching. You have a lifer in prisons running Public Works, where you'd expect someone who might have background in streets or sewers or construction of some sort; and a military logistician in charge of Public Property instead of someone who knows facilities. Hiring an actor/director for Arts, Culture & Tourism makes intuitive sense, but I also can't see it being that fulfilling to a creative type, when the job is largely about securing funding and managing events.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's just not the sort of appointments I expected from him.

I came here to recommend Ellen as well!! She is more than just a chiropractor. I have learned so much from her about taking care of my body holistically and I am much better off for it.

Not in PVD but my husband and I both make the trek up to Boston Medical Center for our orthopedist, Dr. Nathan Cardoos. We are both life-long runners and we each had a few years where we just kept getting minor injuries (it felt like whack-a-mole..we would figure out one thing and another thing would pop up). He has been incredibly helpful in getting us both back on our feet (literally) and he has always taken the time to talk to us in the office, via their message portal, and on the phone when we've needed it.

Catch 22 of sorts — if you hire people without experience running providence, smiley would be criticized for hiring people that don't understand the city

I went to Elite Physical Therapy in North Smithfield a few years ago, and liked my experience.

I second the physical therapy route. I’ve tried chiropractic and have come to agree with its reputation as dangerous quackery. Physical therapy has helped me with everything from lockjaw to acute knee pain. Chiropractic has only ever worsened my particular chronic issues. Wherever you end up, I hope you find what works for you. Being in pain is exhausting.

Many of them suck but many are good. People thinking that only western medicine works is seriously absurd. Preventative western medicine is a joke and only for profit. If you believe in things like taking statins and continuing to eat garbage instead of changing your diet you are a clown.

I just started taking some classes there and really like it. I felt like it was very open to beginners.

Like people say, there is a lot of parking. There are some sorta legal spaces pretty close to DASH, so just take one if you're there. I've never had to park more than a half block away while dropping off or picking up.

It's a very safe neighborhood, for the most part. Just as in all cities, don't leave bookbags or other things laying around and easy to grab. Your rack will be fine. Sounds like you'll be taking your bike to the shop, so why worry?

Yea I've done it one or twice. Or for the past 30 years, every single year, just like the rest of everyone else that I know on this planet.

I started at west side a year and a half ago as a total beginner and I can’t sing their praises highly enough. Sure, some poses are hard but modify modify modify. It’s an incredibly welcoming environment. They’re actually about to run a yoga foundations course for two weekends in January with Court Morgan - she is spectacular! Give the 30 days for $30 deal a shot and I bet you’ll love it. Nick is one of the teachers who has a more foundational approach - 18 months into it I feel like I’m learning as well as practicing in his classes.
