I hope no one would do anything like that or like drilling a hole into the compartment the lense is in and filling it with Great Stuff Expanding Foam Sealant.

At least they'd be able to get in there to fix it quickly as long as no one has filled the lock with super glue.

PS: I'm obviously just joking.

PPS: If anyone really did want to mess with one of these, don't do anything that might result in unsafe conditions for the person sent out to repair it.

20 years ago we wanted wedding rings without stones (a Jewish tradition) and we found a jewelry artist on the RISD website; there was a part of the site where people could post if they had job openings or freelance work for artists. (I'm a RISD grad and back in my day, this service was done via newsletter that came in the mail! That's why I thought to look online. Not sure if they still post these opportunities.)

Idk where you’re coming from but I almost always Uber (or walk, but it doesn’t sound like that’s applicable)

If you must drive, just go straight to the mall lot and walk across the street because the station lot fills up fast. I think the Amtrak lot is $15 a day flat, and the mall is like $2-25 depending on how long you’re there, but nothing is quite as expensive as missing your train.

I see you said E.P. If it's nice out, id check out the East Bay Bike path area for a walk and maybe the area around Borealis coffee.

The downtown bridge is nice, there is quite a bar/brewery scene in the armory neighborhood that's more recent.

Federal Hill is nice and I'd swing by Pastiche (their chai vanilla lattes are basically the best hot drink in the city). You can easily walk between the main points on Westminister, Broadway, and Atwells very easily since you're not driving.

Check out the small businesses on Hope and Blackstone Boulevard.
