I hope no one would do anything like that or like drilling a hole into the compartment the lense is in and filling it with Great Stuff Expanding Foam Sealant.
At least they'd be able to get in there to fix it quickly as long as no one has filled the lock with super glue.
PS: I'm obviously just joking.
PPS: If anyone really did want to mess with one of these, don't do anything that might result in unsafe conditions for the person sent out to repair it.

When they were first installed, it happened a few times. They just cleaned it the next day.

I got flashed by the camera on blackstone going 5 over recently. I haven’t received anything, but is it a guaranteed speeding ticket?

Perhaps a group of like minded Samaritans could gather to tackle the fetid and fungal creep of surveillance. Paintballs? Tow ropes? I dunno. Just spitballing

Or you could, you know, just go the speed limit?

If they REALLY WANT TO BE HEROES, use etching fluid instead of plain olde spray paint

Not sure about Yiddish, but I found with Danish that it's not like English->Scottish. It may sound like that, but when you try and actually understand, it's still a foreign language.

Reply to Local jewelry makers / artists? by JeffFromNH
20 years ago we wanted wedding rings without stones (a Jewish tradition) and we found a jewelry artist on the RISD website; there was a part of the site where people could post if they had job openings or freelance work for artists. (I'm a RISD grad and back in my day, this service was done via newsletter that came in the mail! That's why I thought to look online. Not sure if they still post these opportunities.)

Seen it done. A day later, the spray paint was gone.

Pastiche is closed until the 6th but they have the best fruit tart in the world, also tons of other desserts, their coffee is sourced by new harvest (locally roasted) and everything is made same day fresh, if you can, GET THE FRUIT TART ✨

Reply to Parking at the train station by houndcaptain
Idk where you’re coming from but I almost always Uber (or walk, but it doesn’t sound like that’s applicable)
If you must drive, just go straight to the mall lot and walk across the street because the station lot fills up fast. I think the Amtrak lot is $15 a day flat, and the mall is like $2-25 depending on how long you’re there, but nothing is quite as expensive as missing your train.

Second those choices!

I see you said E.P. If it's nice out, id check out the East Bay Bike path area for a walk and maybe the area around Borealis coffee.
The downtown bridge is nice, there is quite a bar/brewery scene in the armory neighborhood that's more recent.
Federal Hill is nice and I'd swing by Pastiche (their chai vanilla lattes are basically the best hot drink in the city). You can easily walk between the main points on Westminister, Broadway, and Atwells very easily since you're not driving.
Check out the small businesses on Hope and Blackstone Boulevard.

I meant that we'll uber/drive/whatever across the river to Providence and walk around those neighborhoods. Prob not gonna spend that much time in East Providence, it's just slim pickins on AirBnB these days

Either way check out the cluster of bars that are very close together on the west side: Avery, Moniker, Beer on Earth, Bayberry Beer Hall, and Slow Rhode (more of a restaurant but you could treat it like a bar).

I went 31 in a 25 school zone at 5:56pm and got a $50 ticket. Fuck speed cameras. The judge erased the ticket since its close to the threshold and I still had to pay $38.50 in court fees. They’re a money grab and I won’t change my mind.
