A school zone speed limit is 20mph, not 25mph. I'm not sure why that time matters. Kids have sports and after-school activities. Teachers and staff stay in the school building. I think that was around the time of day when the teacher was killed in a hit and run in front of her school a few years ago.

I get all the frustration with tickets, but it is remarkably easy to not get hit a ticket.

Not beer but I’m pretty sure Borealis does cold brew growlers.

Not sure if they still do this but Bottles next East Side Marketplace had a growler refill station.

Or you know, don’t speed.

It’s amazing how driving the speed limit will not only be safer for everyone, but also prevent fines, and also be more fuel efficient, and let’s be honest, you all bitch about someone who drives fast down your street.

So drive the speed limit and be a good motorist.

Life would be so much more enjoyable if everyone obeyed the traffic laws, you’d start see less crosses on the side of the highway and less candle memorials at intersections.

Most of the breweries I visit stopped with growlers because it was largely impractical and you missed a good marketing opportunity by not having the cans. That being said, there's not many that I know that would actively discourage it if you brought it in. Show up, be friendly, have a couple of beers and more often than not they'll find a way to accommodate you for an additional sale.

While I don't have the definitive answer to your question, I have notices the absence of growlers for sale and I can't even remember the last time I saw someone come in for a growler refill. Over the years many breweries offer their beer in cans for takeaway. So if you have invested in growlers, ISTBY. Please let us know if you find a brewery who offers growler refills. - thx

Seems like perhaps they have in these parts! I used to live in Portland, Oregon where they have entire stores geared towards filling growlers. You could also get growlers filled at grocery and convenience stores and, of course, dozens of breweries too.

Thanks, and I generally agree with you on moving away from growlers. I got a uKeg growler for a gift and it has a built tap and CO2 cartridge. Sounded like it might be fun to try out, but it's not worth it if it's nearly impossible to fill a growler.

The speed camera story is premium but the other story isn't, which means you should consider a subscription because you're reading the Projo so much.

So here's another story on the speed cameras that isn't premium.

Honestly, just show up and ask around. Bravo in Burriville and Lops in Woonsocket might do it, I see it occasionally, Smug in Pawtucket I definitely know does it. Buzzards Bay in Westport. Honestly, I'm kinda happy we're moving away from growlers. I have a mountain of them sitting in my basement that I keep forgetting when I go to the actual brewery.
