Fox Point is much safer than the area near Dexter Park.

they're all online nearly 100% of the time and have no idea what it's actually like where they're living, if the comments in this post are to be taken at face value

I’m not sure I don’t participate in the soccer league. If your curious I would ask Jeremy of SFAC.

Every time I’ve gone there they’ve had massive lines and 3 or 4 unfortunate clerks trying to keep up. They are so short staffed, it’s worth driving somewhere else—it’s faster to add half an hour to the driving time!

You're not likely to find Korean anywhere in person locally. Boston Area Spanish Exchange (BASE, also teaches more than Spanish) has Korean private lessons if you really want in person. If I were you though I'd probably look at www.italki.com. I've taken private language lessons there and had good experiences.

I just started swimming at McDermott in Warwick. It’s pretty cheap but the hours aren’t great for adult swim (except the weekend).

I love the YMCA, but between their scheduled class times, kid's swim clubs, the occasional lightning storm, and their pool chemical issues, they're never open.

Anyone remember when it used to be a bar with giant beers? Forgot the name!

Definitely the East Side of Providence. Wayland Square is great and is walkable without the gritty city vibes. Wealthy, but more young professionals, families, retirees than College Hill.

You're welcome. Good luck. My nephew did several triathlons. Awesome sport.

There are a bunch of pick up groups that play outside for fun when the weather is nice. They've all moved indoors now, which is also fun but not free.
I prefer playing indoor on turf, places like Wide World of Indoor Sports, Teamworks, etc.

Isn't Super Fun Activities club indoor on like a basketball court? Imo the fields at teamworks are way better for playing soccer inside.

It was almost 50f on Saturday and how else do you get home if you don't own a car?
"Not safe" apparently means anything outside ever lol
