Although most tattoo artists are self employed or considered subcontractors and it’s getting common for artists to work in different areas/shops to expand their client base, so supporting any female tattoo artist is also great! They need that money so someday they can open their own studios! Anchor Steam in Newport is owned by a woman named Jen. And I think there was a shop named Steel Lion or something that was woman owned but not 100% on that.

Uh, ok? I'm not paying $10 (not including tip) for a tbsp of Nutella on some thin dough served on a paper plate that was made in 15 seconds. It's literally fast street food at triple the price.

I'll go a block over or down the street for a much better experience at a lower price.

I just had lunch there on Thursday. It was fantastic. Had a ham, egg and cheese. Looking to trying more of their flavors.

thank you! i ended up getting called into work friday night so i wasn’t able to go 😪but it seems like prov has a big folk/folk punk scene and it’s cool to know they’re a venue to keep in mind!

Interesting. I’ve only been in the area for about a year. Decided to try it through door dash which can be hit or miss. It all tasted fresh and made with actual “loving” care. I haven’t even looked where they are located. Thanks for sharing your experience. Maybe they’ll do vegan soon.

Every time I've went they barely fill it my crepes and the waffles are equally disappointing. On top of insane prices, no toppings for the crepes, and you could likely die in front of the staff and they wouldn't notice. No one else I know really likes them either unless you're into overpriced college cafeteria food. Bland, thin, pricey crepes served on a dollar store paper plate, nothing more.

Crepe corner, Zenniken, Naughty Waffle, and other places are absolutely much better.

I have lived in the West End for 18 years and have had a squirrel family in my backyard for that long. Never had a problem with them destroying anything. We are kinda 'used' to seeing each other; they don't even run when I go tend to my vegetable garden. The only thing they do is dig a few holes burying their stash of nuts, otherwise they leave my garden alone. I can live with that...they gotta eat too! I DO NOT feed them. I leave them alone. I have herbs, flowers and a vegetable garden...no problem at all with the squirrels. Watching them chase each other and play is hilarious.

I've never been, thanks for the recommendation! Crepe Corner in Pawtuxet Village is amazing, my wife and I have been many times, if you're ever in that area I highly recommend you check them out!

The student population of college hill has really become concentrated with Asian folks.

Yes there are more Indians living in providence whereas they (we) used to be in the burbs.

The s e Asian population is kinda spread out but s providence and Cranston has numbers.

As far as places that people hang out…naw, race doesn’t matter.

It’s really such a great hidden gem. I started going when I first started driving and could travel to the city (I’m 34 now). Haven’t been in years though, wish they had vegan crepes!
