I'm no fan of tax giveaways to developers, but the people who will pay the $2k/mo for downtown apartments are currently competing for housing with those who cannot, thus driving up prices. The city (and the country) need more housing of all types.

2k/month for the lowest tier, a fucking studio apartment.
That's... Ugh, these mother fuckers, I swear, are either greedy beyond belief or utterly ignorant, or both.

The whole promise of this project was to keep 30% of the apartments affordable. Why are we giving tax breaks to millionaire landlords when the project's idea of "affordable" is $2k/month?
Insanity.

vegan not sure, vegetarian definitely. I've messaged their instagram account and they've answered so maybe shoot them a dm. They change their menu fairly often and post it on instagram too, to get a view of it.

I've been wanting to try but like the post says the site is outdated. my wife is vegan so we're reluctant to go because we're not sure if there will be options for her there.
Does anyone know if there are?

I like to look at menus, to see what they offer. Websites are not hard. I found Rogue Island’s on grubhub 🤷🏻♀️

Had a very poor service experience here. Food was fine. There are much better spots to eat in PVD.

Beer selection is phenomenal, kitchen is absolutely solid. I work at a bar in the neighborhood and Rogue Island is where I like to grab a meal before work

For a RESTAURANT, having a website with a quasi updated menu is not that much to ask…..

They have good food and the menu has a variety.
I do think it’s a bit overpriced. I requested tomato on a sandwich in a group to go order and they literally asked me to pay $1 for it when I picked up the food. Felt nickled and dimed - the sandwich was $18.

Reply to Oscar the Therapy Cat accurately predicted 25 deaths in Providence RI nursing home. by swank401
The article cites Wikipedia as a source for Oscar's death prediction rate (50). Also, article is from 2016.
Also, incredibly sad that he died in February, age 17.
