Pizza Marvin is the best - street parking is not challenging. Nice Slice - pretty good - street parking also. Caserta is not good - go for the parking.

Brooklyn napolitanos and Nice Slice are great NY style pizza places

Twins Pizza in North Providence on Mineral Spring. It’s far better than Caserta.

Yes, I believe there about twenty spots and the lot is just for Caserta. I never tried going at peak weekend dinner times, so can't say how long those spots last.

Co-opting this thread to ask about NY style pizza places in Providence and surrounds. What are the best? Seems like lots of local favorites feature Sicilian style which I like but not as much as a thin NY style crust.

Caserta for me too. Been going there since I was a small child.

It’s Pizza J for me
Small parking lot, but there’s always easy, non-metered parking across the street.

I'm no expert, but my favorite pizza restaurant with parking is Caserta Pizzeria off Atwells Ave.

Your best bets locally are Portland Pottery in Braintree MA or Sheffield Pottery in Sheffield MA. You can order Sheffield online.

I have many SE Asian friends here in Providence over the years and I have not found that at all. Your comment strikes me as deeply ignorant

Amanda Kryla is really great! I haven’t gotten any new work since she had Blackheart Tattoo in Coventry and from IG it looks like she’s about to open a new spot called Pretty Deadly. If you’re into botanicals/bugs/fine linework and open to trying a young artist, I just started following Cassie McKane from FINAO in NP. I don’t know her personally or anything, just came across the profile somehow and like the style and have enjoyed seeing the transition from apprentice to artist.

The only store that might sell in RI is the Metcalf store on the RISD campus but I am unsure if they are open to the public, if they have clay in store or if the ceramic department handles that for their students directly. You could give them a call.
I will also say that I put in an order w Sheffield last week and it came fairly quickly. I’ve ordered in the past from The Ceramic Shop and it took a bit of time to receive that package.
