Agreed. I selfishly (shellfishly?) want them to move in next to Rasoi/Antonio's and build out a little outdoor seating area there. Wish the owners of the plaza had more imagination than basic strip mall.

I believe the plan was for them to keep both locations fwiw. But who knows.

Yes, the Guatemalan consulate is here too. There are several K'iche speakers as well. There is also a fair concentration of Guatemalans around Cranston Street and Plainfield—it was not uncommon to see women wearing their native clothing and speaking K'iche. Just be aware of the scale we are talking about—we are talking about, like, a street and a couple of side streets coming off of it. Not like, fullblown actual neighborhoods in other cities.

Yeah i hate to be that guy but there aren’t very many Mexicans. Im Mexican myself (moved from CA myself) and in the past two months I only met one other Mexican that wasn’t operating a Mexican restaurant. It’s gonna be weird. people are in fact racist here, but there are plenty of good people to balance it out

It’s really sad that folks here feel the need to knock people down to make themselves feel better. Is this sub all industry burnouts? All 3 restaurants are going to be jammed from now on with all this incredible publicity.

And for the Rebelle owner in particular, you’re just doing her publicity for free. If she’s a terrible person or an angel, that’s subjective and varies by person and situation. That’s the case with everyone. Thanks to you all the whole city knows Rebelle has reopened!

I have taken Uber to Logan many times. Mostly around $75, occasionally around $100. One time, I took one from Logan back here that cost $200, just a few dollars less than the flight I had just taken. But it was past midnight and I just wanted to get home.
