It was nice that we had the 7/11 with live entertainment and then the nice 7/11 for when you didn't want to be hassled.

In 2023, not really. Most places that people call dives or dive-y have elements of that definition but they ultimately aren't really dives. It became hip and stylish to be sort of a dive bar over the last 20 years. Now, it's more of a chosen aesthetic that places have.

Scurvy has done it for years.
