AS220 was originally conceived as an open gallery where anyone could have a one-person show for the asking. Not sure how it works now but I doubt its core tenet had changed.

It has a cafe/bar. Just go check it out and ask. I'm sure the website has info too.

There are also gallery-like spaces. I once had a one-person show for a month at a bookstore / cafe space. Some banks also offer gallery space.

Good luck!

Filled out the study. Took a long gap from the Ripta line until recently due to a job change. However, taking the bus home for the last time in early 2021. I overheard a small trio of Ripta employees talking about how Trump won, january 6 rioters were Patriots and a bunch of super rascist remarks on black people. My new bus route drivers have been kind enough, but ive always wondered what the work environment is really like inside.

Eh, I would just call and ask them. The kids working there wouldn’t mind, and if anyone would know, it would be them. They’re very friendly. RS Peacedale is my gym, and I’m somewhat tied in (heh) to the RI climbing scene - I’m just too old to know what a discord is.

Just fyi buildings with 6 or more units cannot apply for a street permit. So even if you were able to find a street that allowed overnight permit, you won't be able to apply for a permit.

Personally, I find downtown is a complete snoozefest, ghost town to reside since it's a lot of banks, hotels, and shops that close up at 5pm and few residents. It's not as bad as it used to be to live in, but you might find yourself isolated as it will be equally inconvenient for friends to visit from other neighborhoods unless they want to search for a meter. But, for what it is worth, I've never actually lived there so maybe someone can vouch for it being worth the premium.

Not to be a jerk or anything but don’t you think introducing and naming your study as inequitable invites a bias? Seems like in the infant stages of your project you’re setting yourself up for a confirmation bias of the data or at least priming the pump for respondents to view the system as having inequality. While there may ultimately be inequity your study is going to draw scrutiny for how it’s set up.. just my uninvited 2 cent.
