You extrapolate a lot. I didn't say there's justification for that, and this person's post also didn't say or provide any additional information or video for you to reach the conclusion that this situation was not abuse.

This person is obviously at least sensitive to animals and saw something that they felt was serious enough to be addressed. You can trust that or not, but I don't see how you can reach the opposite conclusion without having seen anything.

Not always. Some just don't use email that much and prefer call/text, especially older landlords. With me, I did send a message through Facebook messenger, but once I figure it out that the landlord preferred using the phone's message app to text, that's become our primary method of communication. But of course, be weary of those who want to rush you into putting in a deposit because there are many people interested or want you to apply before seeing the apartment. Especially those that send you a link for you to fill out the information so they can check your credit score.

There's dog leashes for bikes. I'd hardly consider the occurrence listed above as "abuse" unless they are smaller dogs (someone mentioned them being boxers). Large dogs can keep up with a bike. I'm not sure why you think someone riding a bike with their dogs justifies the internet knowing where he lives? Hope no one ever displays your address on the internet because they didn't like something you did.

So far so good. Though I have seen them ban for less. One year they banned and I had no clue. the storm turned out to be a dud, but still got towed. I was so pissed lol.

So they wanted a check before you said yes please let me sign a lease? Sure it’s not the deposit? So you want the place yes? If you toured and want it and want them to take it off the market taking a deposit isn’t weird. Then when you actually sign lease after you’ve read it and first months rent gets paid…. Are they suggesting first months and deposit before signing?

It could be for women’s history month. I know the official colors are purple, green, and white so it’s possible the blue you see is meant to be purple. Just a guess though
