I love the stupid ass little smirks they have...like who are these people? What happened to them in life where they thought "oh man I wanna be one of those obnoxiously stupid douchebags!"

It's like they sincerely think what they are doing is cool and everyone is impressed.

I once saw a guy on a ATV driving through Kennedy Plaza with a small child sitting in front of him. No helmets on either, we caught eyes and he just smiled...was he saying "ha-ha! I know this makes you mad because it's retarded but ya can't do anything about it!"?

Gray tower is Textron (Cessna, Bell Helicopters, etc.) world HQ. Plus some law firms and assorted tenants.

One Financial (the large white stone tower) has several floors of BoA, but that is recent. It was built as the Hospital Trust Tower (a bank) and they occupied the 28th Floor Penthouse and several others. Then a large law firm, Edwards and Angell took over much of that space, but they have since changed names and stopped being locally headquartered and downsized a bit in the building. The Santander is just a branch in the lobby. The rest of the tower is several law firms, Morgan Stanley financial services, and some other assorted tenants.

The centered building is the Textron headquarters. I believe the tallest building pictured here (One Financial Plaza) has either Bank of America or Santander as the primary tenant.

I never said it was historically significant, just that the attractive, charming old building was most of the reason I ever went there and I’m sure I’m not the only one. The rush to demolish the building without a real, timely plan to rebuild left a bad impression on many members of the community, including myself. If they actually rebuild, I wish them the best of luck. Not so sure cupcakes are quite the draw they were back in 2010, but I guess we’ll see.

He owned the building! And there was nothing deeming the structure worthy of preservation. We still have private property rights in America, as far as I'm aware. My friend lives in a 1785 farmhouse out in Lincoln, they could knock it down tomorrow if they got a town demo permit.

He's even on the sidewalk, just like our own local jamokes.
