Also, depending on where you decide to live, driving or taking the bus may be needed. If you are driving, you will need to consider the costs associated with parking.

If you’re going to Back Bay or South Station, it’s a little over an hour each way on commuter rail. The trains are on a very set schedule, so you don’t have to wait in the station if you plan your trip correctly.
You can also take Amtrak, and the trip is around 30 minutes. The schedule isn’t as frequent, and the Providence-to-Boston Amtrak trains are more likely to fall behind schedule. (The trains leaving from Boston are usually on time.) If your work hours allow it, a combination of commuter rail to Boston and Amtrak to Providence offers the best combination of speed and reliability.

You should do a search, this is a popular subject. Trains not terrible but it's gonna get tiring real fast, especially if you have to pay for parking. Driving will suck, especially if you go all the way into the city. If you do rive, park at Quincy Adams to take the T, but then you'll be dealing with the actual trainwreck the T is right now.
TLDR: Hopefully you don't have to go in 5 days a week or your job is paying you an arm and a leg because the commute will get tiring quick.

Do you want to spend 2.5 hours on a train every day and probably another 1/2 hour waiting for said train in the station… so approx 3 hours a day commuting?

Reply to comment by Aeronaute in PPAC announced their show lineup for the 2023/24 season, and there are some gems by Katie_Lan
FUNNY GIRL, Disney's Frozen, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical: Here's what's coming to PPAC
 Katie Landeck
The Providence Journal
The 2023-24 season is going to dazzle at the Providence Performing Arts Center is going to sparkle, with some of the most beloved shows of Broadway coming to the stage.
Kicking off the season, the Broadway hit FUNNY GIRL is going on tour for the first time in 27 years and the first stop will be at PPAC, running from Sept. 9 to16.
"We think it’s splendid that PPAC has the distinction of launching the national tour of FUNNY GIRL," said PPAC President and CEO J.L. "Lynn" Singleton in a press release. "This will be the 22nd national tour to open at PPAC since 2008. We are looking forward to welcoming the company of FUNNY GIRL to our beautiful city of Providence this fall."
From there, it's a whirlwind lineup of popular shows, including Moulin Rouge! The Musical, To Kill a Mockingbird and Disney's Frozen.
As Singleton said a friend told him after hearing the lineup, "there's no bad shows this year."
"It's just gold," Singleton said.

PPAC's 2023-2024 Schedule:
FUNNY GIRL, National Tour Launch: Sept. 9 - 16 Fanny Brice was told she was never going to be a star, then something funny happened. With hit songs like "Don't Rain On My Parade," "I'm the Greatest Star" and "People," this is one of the most beloved musicals of all time.
Johnny Mathis - The Voice of Romance Tour: Sept. 23 Celebrating his 67th year as a recording artist, Johnny Mathis will take to the stage.
Mrs. Doubtfire: Oct. 17 - 22 An out-of-work actor is willing to do anything to spend more time with his kids - including disguising himself as the nanny in this comedy.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical: Dec. 19 - 31 This is an extravaganza of a production, where bohemians and aristocrats collide.
Ain’t Too Proud-The Life and Times of the Temptations: Jan 23 - 28 Follow the story of the Temptations from the streets of Detriot to national fame while enjoying some of their classic hits.
To Kill a Mockingbird: Feb. 6-11 A rare choice for PPAC in that it's not a musical, this adaptation of Harper Lee's classic novel promises to stun.
Frozen: March 7 - 14 The stage adaptation of Disney's hit movie, this family-friendly show is moving and spectacular.
Company: April 23-28 It's Bobby's 35th birthday party, and all her friends keep asking why she isn't married as this funny show explores why living in the 21st century could drive a person crazy.
What shows are expected to be hardest to get tickets for
Singleton said that while all the shows "are gold" there are three shows in particular that he thinks will drive ticket sales. Here are his three picks and what he said about them.
To Kill A Mockingbird: "They've seen the movie, but they've not necessarily seen the play."
Moulin Rouge: "People's expectations will be very high. It's a party show."
Frozen: "It's for families and it has that song that I'm sure every parent is tired of hearing. Let It Go."

How to get tickets
Right now, the only way to get tickets is by subscribing to either The Taco/The White Family Foundation Broadway Series, or Encore Series, which is sponsored by Cox Media. Subscribing bundles tickets to several shows together and comes with other perks, including parking.
Single ticket sales will start later in the season. For more information, call the box office at 401-421-2787 or email box_office_questions@ppacri.org.

Yeah, a few months ago it was halloween! Are you like juicy smollet thinking roving bands of yazis roam the streets of providence?
OR it's publicity stunts since the need for yazis outstrips the supply of yazis and there isn't as much money in being a commie as people thought?
I'd pay to see some commies take the boats delivered by cuban nationals and have them bring it back. It's state property after all.

Yeah this entire post is bs, I live in the neighborhood and the American flag is back up but now it is upside down. And I know it’s not unintentional because he’s had the flag up before for months even years right side up.

That depends on where you are. There’s a lot of neighborhoods with decently affordable homes (by Boston standards anyway) that are an easy walk / bike ride from the train station. There are also a lot that aren’t, obviously.
