why do you think you wouldn’t have to buy out the restaurant? 50 people is a big event for a restaurant

I love the parade! It's super local and almost feels small town-ish. All the important local and state politicians are there. There's a wide variety of performers - Irish pipers, drum bands, but also groups from non-Irish backgrounds who live in Smith Hill. Usually there is candy & some freebies thrown out for kids. Keep in mind that this is a St. Patrick's Day parade, so it's a day drinking affair for a lot of people, especially around Patrick's Pub.

It’s a sh*t show. Brings out the true spirit of the locals - puking in the streets and nips everywhere. Great for family photos!

At least we’ve got a nice bottleneck right there to protect PVD from rising sea levels. Permanently closing the hurricane barrier and reinforcing it is relatively straightforward.
Boston on the other hand will have to build a seawall from either from Logan or across the islands further out. It’ll be a hell of a megaproject.

Space is cold, expensive to get to, and extremely dangerous. I'd recommend finding someplace on Earth instead. Best of luck.

Check out the Landing on Dyer St. art gallery gift shop ice cream shop and a really nice airy space. Part of the Providence River Boat Company too. I held a catered cocktail party there last July and we also took a sunset booze cruise. Good luck.

Reply to Has anyone else had issues with cell service downtown the past month? From the mall, to rwu, to the train station, I haven’t been able to get service in that triangle. As soon as I’m out of that area, it’s fine by rick_n_snorty
I have t mobile, but only found issues when I was doing Uber eats delivers from the CVS at the mall. Rode there in the snow on my bike last week for the app to crap out. But I think that was just an Uber issue

What are you planning to comment to Boston? Be careful what you say - they can be kind of tough up there.

Maybe try Waterman Grille. I’m not sure price or availability but could be worth calling to see
