We are getting a 10% pay bump, but thats not quite covering the massive cost of living difference. I live in western mass and have a 2,200 sqft house with a $1,400 monthly mortgage. With the increased interest rate i'm looking at $2,300-2,500 a month to get something even remotely close.
I'm 2 hours from Boston currently, trying to figure out if its better to commute from here 3 days a week since the cost of travel from RI plus increased real estate market will be so high.

Uber will get expensive fast, Providence has a growing amount of bike users, and adding more bike lanes. There aren't any in that area I know of, but you might find it more convenient than RIPTA for the local stuff.

Yeah I mean the dual store spot sorry on Broadway. Just nice space to get things on and meet other likeminded nice people. Great coffee too. As good as seven stars easily if memory serves

I wish they turned at least one of the Benny's into a Benny's Bar - serving all the quirky local foods, local brews, and RI themed cocktails.

Snookers is a great spot to host a party, they can easily accommodate 50 people and they’re a casual spot with fun games and pool tables :) and would definitely be within your budget

You’re being downvoted bc you are saying that lower income equates to a bad neighborhood

And parking in Quincy and taking the train adds more time to the commute as well. Just something to keep in mind. I did it years ago and it was a real drag.

I think people downvote you for being a racist propagandist who adds nothing of value to this community.

If you’re in Federal Hill, we use Wiggle Walkers and have had a positive experience. I’m not sure who people prefer on the East Side. We also met with folks from Tails n’ Trails and they seemed great, just a tad more expensive than WW. TnT is a larger company too and offers house sitting, training, etc.

Edited to add: OP, this is accurate info. It will likely get downvoted though. And not because the info isn't accurate. A bunch of weirdos on here downvote all of my posts because they (falsely) believe I'm a former banned member who caused a lot of trouble.
