Racist comments are never ever ok but also… how did this customer sit there for 4.5 hours and mooch hot water for free from the workers and nobody on the staff said anything? If someone is hanging out in a business and not consuming, the staff has every right to ask the customer to leave.

Also what’s wrong with calling people “white”, Caucasian actually just means something else, there’s a whole region in Asia called the Caucasus. The term Caucasian is linked to the word Mongoloid, which we also don’t use anymore.

Hey! Sent you a dm as well, but highly recommend checking out some of the opportunities with the Governors Workforce Board. They have tons of training / apprenticeship programs specifically targeted towards in-demand skills that can get you up-skilled and in a good paying job pretty quickly

I know you're trying your best for Grover. I love Frenchies, lost my Boston this past Dec.

French Bulldogs are the most stolen breed right now.

https://petkeen.com/dog-breeds-most-likely-stolen/

Their popularity has exploded in the past 5-10 years. A man got murdered trying to sell one via craigslist in South Carolina.

I would talk to PARL. If you want, I can talk to FOHA (Friends of Homeless Animals, they specialize in smaller breeds). In either case, the adopter will pay a fee (not cheap) and by vetted. That Grover's best shot.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer. I know your heart's in the right place.

Thanks for the advice. (speaking of doing me dirty, they laid me off once in the past but I returned a few years later) I do love my job but being an art director/graphic designer I can do my job remote, assuming I can find a remote position. The local area I'm in isn't great for my field.

I would definitely rent before buying to get a lay of the land/lifestyle.

This is the one. Also, restaurant business. I know Durks bbq was hiring kitchen staff (no experience required) starting at 20 an hour and you could work your way up from dish washer to whatever you wanted. I'm sure there are many examples

Some college or?

I'm thinking,

Food Service, like bartending or server. Depending on where you go can be pretty lucrative.

Whole foods, I worked there years ago but it was pretty good. they pay more than the competition but I donno if it's still true.

Maybe you could work for one of the hospitals or schools? You got brown, risd, several private schools etc.

Me personally, I have some college and I work for the T and commute. Lots of opportunities in Boston if your interested in commuting
