lol I've never heard of the being turned away for not being "gay enough". Also I'm not sure if they're always 18+, I'm fairly certain that's only for some events. you'd have to check they're insta or website maybe?

Providence is full of art and culture. the nightlife is great. Very high number of gorgeous women per capita if you’re into gorgeous women. Plenty to get involved in, plenty to do and see, Boston/Newport are close enough to be able to visit for a day without having to live there. We have the best food scene in New England in my humble opinion. Just make sure you own a car. Try to live as close to fox point or federal hill as you can. Upper South side is cool too

“Without warning” they were asked to stop, and frisked. I’m a small dude, and anytime I’ve gone to a bar/club in the past 12 years that has a rather large crowd - I get frisked as well. Or the security guard gives me and ocular patdown and asses that I’m not a threat. Honestly they were probably looking for alcohol nips.

It’s standard, but most places don’t frisk women.

This is all very accurate. And it is unfortunate how the more accurate or helpful the post, the more it will get downvoted around here. Must be running low on "hurt feelings reports".

The woman on Almy wasn’t the owner - she was a good Samaritan trying to help. She locked the dog up in her fenced backyard so it couldn’t hurt anything or anyone else. The owner couldn’t be located and animal control was called to retrieve the dog. (This information is per the police officer at the scene yesterday afternoon after they got the little girl and dog to safety.)

The smaller dog, woman and the child are all okay as far as I know. I do not know if the owner was located.

It's invasive but I'm glad they do it. I mean, I don't think anyone likes it being done to them but who wouldn't want it done to people you don't know.

Edited to add: This is why frisking is good. To avoid this:
