It’s popular for a reason. You can still walk in as they don’t book all of their tables with reservations, but suggest going by 6 for this or you may have a wait.

In summer, it’s a little more flexible as they only take reservations for outside on the day of based on the weather forecast. So you can call when they open and make one then.

You also don’t need a reservation for the bar. Of course that is only great if you’re looking for a party or just 2 maybe 3.

It’s dank and cheap still. Not sure about the one-time admission though.

Newport is not for folks looking for cheap clothes, farmers market a la sea - no problem.

I lived there for a year, and enjoyed it. No complaints, I only moved because of a family situation

Indoor farmers market at Farm Fresh, Sunday has indoor flea market at the same spot (double check I don’t know what Sunday’s they do it)

Slater has a few buildings.

Building 1 is a typical restored mill, with sound problems.

Building 2 is a new construction, and damn near soundproof.

Building 3 is a legit house. Sound depends on unit.

Building 4 I don’t know about. Haven’t heard anything bad, besides from being across the street from a church bell that goes off every hour.

Love it! Safe injection sites have been a roaring success in San Francisco. If we want to be a world class city we have to start acting like one.

Oh I guess single game sounds expensive... But it's $30 for 75 minutes it looks like and multiple games. Different model.

I lived there for 3.5 years and loved my time there. We were in a first floor unit and never had any issues with sound. Had a very positive experience with staff and especially the maintence team. Not sure what the units are currently going for, but it was very reasonable while we were there.

The surrounding area isn’t anything to write home about, but I never felt unsafe and you are very close to the east side of Providence and a short drive to downtown.

Love those old signs and lights. Whole lot of character.

Jumping on this thread to say I ALSO recently moved (within Prov) and have a ton of moving boxes if anyone else needs any!

If you’re looking for something fun with friends that isn’t the mall or going out to eat, RI has a few excellent mystery rooms/escape rooms. The Riddle Room in Warwick or East Greenwich. Very detailed and creative! Lock and Clue in Pawtucket is also so much fun! “The Cellar” room at Lock and Clue is horror themed!
