Saw Jagged Little Pill a few months ago. PPAC needs to do a serious audio overhaul. It went from too loud, to incomprehensible at seemingly random times. Something is wrong and they don’t seem to know it.

I went a few nights ago. It's one of my favorites, I've seen it several times in different theaters, and I agree that it was hard to understand the words this time at PPAC. Seemed to be a combination of their tech and some vocal choices. Hope you were able to still enjoy it!

There’s an alarm that has gone off near the elementary school in Fox Point twice this week around 530am. I think it’s the building they’re doing construction on, but it goes off for 10-20 minutes straight.

Of course as part of the original deal: the developer got to keep 2/3rds of the sales tax collected for at least 15 years, not sure if that was allowed to sunset or not.

Anyone remember that guy who would drive around Providence in the mid to late 90s, basically talk shit, film it, and it somehow wound up on local TV?

I remember him driving by the mall as it was being constructed or just after it was complete, saying “it would be a homeless shelter one day”.

I don’t completely doubt it; maybe he was really onto something.

I’m from Jersey/NYC area and I have yet to find a slice that does not disappoint when compared to home (recommendations please!!) The only place that I find to be consistently good “pizza” is Flatbread Co. off Thayer Street. Gonna have to try nice slice.
