I'm not sure there's an easy quick answer, but it's a combination of stuff he inherited and beyond his control like the city's fiscal cliff, crimes, bad schools, etc.

Then throw in a mix of failed ideas like giving meters, "Let's sell the water supply", etc

Throw in some spats with fire and teachers' unions and that ain't a great look.

Some didn't like bike lanes. Others didn't like expanded parking meters.

Some people think he imports dirtbikes and ATVs and personally distributes him across the city.

He's either too progressive or not progressive enough.

Overall, he's probably a C+/B- mayor? I give him credit for trying to deal with the looming fiscal cliff of the pensions more than his predecessors. He certainly didn't fix it but going back to first edition Cianci, most of the city's mayors either actively made it worse or just tried to kick the can down the road and pretend it wasn't a problem.

Not a lot of people know it but I think Charuma on Weybosset is the best place. They don’t use powdered flavorings and the tea is really good quality. Kimochi is good if you want the artificial tasting flavors. Kung fu tea is consistently good too.

I've had pretty much every boba day in this city along with friends, here's what we think:

Best: Tiger sugar, kung fu tea (their s'mores was the best ive ever had), ten one tea (if you're into fruity), and ceremony

Mid: kimochi (donuts are pretty good as well)

Worst: bubble tea house

There is a new one on Washington St I tried the other day that was good, Kimochi. Bubble tea house on Westminster is always good too.

There was a likely suicide yesterday on the commuter rail tracks very close to that area. There almost certainly won't really be any follow-up on it beyond the details released.

I think something like 1/3 of the people hit by trains are officially deemed to be suicides as is. That's just the official tally they can confirm. In a case where the tracks aren't easily accessible or a practical shortcut, it's hard to see how that was anything other than intentional.

The ones off bold point usually unload diesel for the Sprague terminal in East providence.

The ones farther down off riverside do the exxron terminal in riverside.

On the pvd side farther north is either scrap, salt and/or natural gas. Farther down there's a 'cargo port where they ship cars and cargo to Africa and there's the gasoline terminal and a propane terminal
