You should visit the Museum of Work and Culture in Woonsocket, there was a significant amount of French Canadian immigration dating back to the late 17th century. Perhaps also reach out to the Franco-American School in Providence, they might have some resources for you, too.

I saw 4 cop cars blitzing in and out of side streets on Atwells earlier today, they were looking for someone. Then I saw a guy with a bike helmet guiltily walk past me like he was hiding from people. Could be racing.

Check out https://www.rihs.org/locations/museum-of-work-culture/ In Woonsocket. Lots of us frenchies / families migrated from Quebec and came to work and live there. Bon chance 🍀 😁

If you really want to put a time figure on it, I'd probably call it 40 years.

In Providence I can drive to somewhere, park, and walk around. In Boston, I can’t park anywhere without getting shafted, so the broken train lines are the only option to get to stuff that isn’t near home.
Be glad you have parking lots instead of parking tickets. Brookline MA has very few public parking lots, and those are metered, and the streets have 2 hour parking at all times, even overnight.
