I believe that the top of the building was meant to be a blimp dock, or whatever you would call a place that zeppelins park.
Got little use.

Definitely plus-plus-plus this! Just went there for the first time a few months ago, and it is a fantastic museum bottom to top!

Providence is such a small city I rarely ever see a need to drive 𤷠I also don't see a need to have half our city be a concrete lot at the expense of everything else.

As someone who uses bike paths year round, I see plenty of people using them.

For your music needs check out Armageddon Shop (record store) on Broadway. Armageddon will more than fulfill your punk/industrial needs. For pinball you can go to Pizza J - they have a rotating selection of machines you can play while enjoying a drink and a slice. Downtown thereās an arcade bar called Freeplay that should have some pinball as well as a load of coin op video game machines. In terms vintage toys you might want to check out Make Believe RI - I only know them as an Instagram account where they post what they have for sale - Iām not sure if they currently have a physical space to browse. Hereās their eBay - https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?sid=pickupmyglasseye. Their insta handle is @makebelieveri - you can always DM to see if they have a spot you can check out.

Not really vintage or anything, but the Providence Place mall does have an entire LEGO store.

Back to the Future on Pontiac ave has a lot of good stuff. Records, comic books, video games, action figures. The Time Capsule in Cranston RI also has some decent stuff. Check out Free Play right down town for playing Pinball and the like. There's a cover charge but once you're in all the games are free

- Thereās the Rochambeau trail that marks the journey of Rochambeauās army down the East Coast to Yorktown. Starts in Newport, thereās a marker for a campsite he made on Providenceās East Side. Sure there are other points along it.
- Frenchtown in East Greenwich derives its name from Hugenot refugees that came during the colonial period.
- Aram Pothier (Governor) and Felix Toupin (Lieutenant Governor) were both prominent French Canadian diaspora politicians in early 20th Century RI (both from Woonsocket). They represented opposite sides of the spectrum. During a particular contentious and long debate on the RI Senate floor under Toupinās leadership, Republicans stink bombed the chamber (Toupin was unaffected as his face was under a wet cloth as he was getting shaved during the incident, and the Journal blamed the incident on Democrats).

One year there were just three of us so we went to a buffet put on by Johnson & Wales in a banquet hall not far from Providence (but I don't recall where). It was spectacular -- very fancy and exceptionally good food.
Maybe contact Johnson & Wales to find out if they still do it? This was probably 20 years ago.

Growing up in RI, as a kid I thought this was the building where the Ghostbusters fight Gozer at the end of the movie. Maybe similar architecture?

So cool, nice work. I've never seen anything detailed enough where I could notice the engraved falcon wraparound up there.
