please do point out my transphobia, I promise that is the furthest thing from the truth.
listen dude idk what your fucking problem is. coming to this post where i asked a question that you clearly had no interest in, proceeding to leave a negative comment, and then when I try to lighten the mood you try to dig up “dirt” about me. go somewhere else

It’s a problem I’ve noticed getting worse and worse lately. Thursday I was on Bald Hill Road near Kent Hospital. Not only would people not move out of the way, a few people continued moving into the turning lane and actively blocked the ambulance. It ended up having to come to a complete stop and then go into oncoming traffic. It’s shockingly rude.

First Unitarian on the east side has an open choir. You practice an hour before the service and then sing in the service. Sunday mornings.

Do you have numbers to backup that claim? You mean to tell me, as others have pointed out, that the cold weather and shelters kicking people out during the day plays no effect in homeless folks observed at the mall?
I don't buy what you say at face value as the SSA just increased it's cola payouts by 8.7 % whereas the annual inflation rate is now 7.7 - they're doing the complete opposite of what you're saying and paying out even more !
You mean to tell people here that, without shelter occupancy rate figures, and while giving you the benefit of the doubt that the homeless population increase is a fact ( nevermind the anecdotal claim that homeless folks observed at the mall has increased which is entirely separate) that the opioid epidemic has no variable in this equation?
Do we really need more shelters if the problem is existing shelters kicking people out during the day?

A new Axe Throwing place opened up in Cranston and it is right next to Cucina Rustica, which is a pretty good Italian restaurant.

Saying "communist Era Soviet" is redundant and the idea that people were constantly struggling to get enough to eat is propaganda. The greatest decline in quality of life there was when the union fell and capitalist shock therapy began

There are some sacred harp singing groups on the east side, not sure if they have a full time location post-pandemic but they coordinate via an email list. DM me if interested and I can put you in touch. (Super low key and super easy to participate.)

I've worked with RPM Voices a few times and everybody involved is really warm and talented and the music selections are always pretty great and diverse. The repertoire skews more traditional gospel which you may or may not be into. They have a Christmas concert coming up on December 3rd you may want to check out. https://www.rpmvoices.com/
