I'm not sure how well I'm going to deal with this till 2025 or 2026. Even just going to the grocery store means sitting in traffic along littered roadways with angry drivers. Literally never easy or pleasant to drive anywhere.

Why, what have I got to look forward to. Some mess related to the new I 95 bridge no doubt?

Didn’t know that tbh. We weren’t the only ones smoking, so I just assumed it was fine.

Red ink on the east side. Not exactly a bookstore but if you like books you'll like it

I know he does signings/events. Don’t know if he does any “behind the scenes” work. The store also just has a really cool vibe and the fact that he owns it is secondary.

Thanks for reminding me how infrequently I’ve left the east bay since March 2020.

Just keep it away from kids like you would with cigarettes. That’s all that matters.

There may be hope for this world if a brick and mortar bookstore can actually open in this digital world.

Deeply excited to see someone else on this subreddit drop a CARI arena link, I'm so fascinated by their categorization and trend work!

Cellar Stories!!!!! Truly an unsung favorite—my favorite used bookstore of all time. I have been dozens of times and never left without buying something. It's full of interesting nooks and crannies and has books on literally every subject. Some good spots for sitting too.

And the dumbasses who do drive down Atwells are constantly honking and gassing their engines at the red lights. Fucking stop, please.
