All good recommendations for coffee! I find that bolt and new harvest don’t really have the “sit and do work at a coffee shop vibe” they’re kind of small, with only a few tables. I did a lot of work at seven stars on point street! Lots of seating, and plenty of snacks, didn’t feel like I was taking up one of the few tables to be able to sit for a couple hours.

Recently visited Providence and came here to echo Borealis Coffee Co. Another place that I really liked was Rise ‘n Shine Coffee Bar.

Dave’s Coffee on South Main has great coffee—it’s a smaller shop but they have wifi and a bathroom. Their pastries and breakfast sandwiches on their homemade English muffins are also solid. Would also echo others’ suggestions for coffee exchange, seven stars, bolt, white electric—you won’t be short on options :)

Art is important. Industrial design is important. Interior design is important. Graphic design is important. Animation and photography and videography are important.

Providence has been manufacturing jewelry as long as America has been a country and risd helps preserve that tradition.

Sorry you're not happy with your career choices but an education in the arts is worthwhile and benefits society. Providence is made beautiful by the art we commission

Coffee Exchange on Wickenden has some of the best coffee I've ever had. Nice vibe too - especially now that the indoor seating is back. They used to have wiFi - don't know if they still do, but there's a library down the street.

Tons of good coffee in the city but Coffee Exchange is top tier and is the answer. I feel like every other place is a half coffee shop half breakfast bar. While I love that, if you're looking for a place that solely focuses their efforts on coffee in the city, its CoFx.
