If you like indie rock, Molly O’Leary is great and will be playing at Askew in the near future with her band. Great group of musicians.

Prog rock? Hemlok if you like to go to weird places. Everyone in the band is an incredible musician. They don’t play live often but they play Dusk and Alchemy and the like.

If you like Rockabilly, Sasquatch & the Sick-a-Billys - Squatch owns the Galactic Theatre in Warren and plays there regularly. Bit dark, he puts on a good show.

Check out schedules at Askew, Alchemy, Dusk, The Parlour, AS220 for lots of local shows. The Met in Pawtucket gets bigger touring acts and is a cool venue.

Edit to add: Jake Wasson MD is so good! Definitely a fan. Tons of really cool local musicians around here. Rather Nice too!

Oh I don't think that this applies to every homeless person, believe me. But I do know with 100% certainty that SOME of the homeless individuals in this and other states fit that description. Like I said, I agree with you that we do need to provide more resources and more opportunities to get help. I just don't know how to handle those few percent who actively do not want to be helped.
