Don't ruin everyone else's time and make them sit outside in December. If they're that covid conscious, they can stay home or wear a mask indoors.

Nope / it’s cops. That’s why they won’t ticket unless there’s a complaint (vs regular walking the beat meter maids).

On east side - it’s not heavily enforced actually. Only if someone gets on the phone ……. Otherwise zero enforcement (and this is directly from the police themselves when we had someone block our garbage cans for a month. Don’t get me started on why they can’t get to the garbage cans with cars parked like every other city can……)

Parking actually only gets ticketed in the neighborhood (per a chat with the police desk) if someone actually calls and complains about - between 1am and 5am. You can’t call outside of those hours to complain about overnighting - they won’t bother. Which leads me to view this as an ill thought out half Oakes money grab rather than any concern with quality of life either way. Someone called the cops that’s why you got a ticket.

Awesome, that's where I book my providers when needed. Not to say our cute little local subreddit ain't good, but you know, it's a bit more protected that way.

I live in an apartment and I care for dogs in my home, but I can drop into the dog’s home for visits if needed.

From 2am to 5 am? I'm pretty sure the overnight parking tickets are given by cops.

Just my opinion but I think your decision to get a dog was extremely irresponsible.

Blackies in Smithfield. The Patio might be open I would call. Los Andes has an area that is technically outside on a deck area, but it is covered and has heaters.
Both have alcohol

JANUARY 10, 2020

"Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with the beating death of a homeless man in a Providence park this summer, according to police.
Three of the teenagers are 16 years old and one is 15 years old, police said Friday. The arrests stem from the death of 50-year-old Manuel Delacruz, who was assaulted July 23.
Police responded to the Dexter Training Ground park and found Delacruz, who told officers he had been assaulted by a group of juvenile males but didn’t want to press charges. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he died of his injuries the following week."

Seconded. I’ve been to Nicks at various parts of the winter and the outdoor seating is super comfortable. Great drinks. Great food. Excellent staff.
