Coffee Exchange just opened their second floor, plus it's been just window-takeout for so long (2.5 years) I bet a chunk of their former customer base has moved on.
Add to that, the people still / again avoiding indoor sit-down eatery spaces due to the current "tripledemic" -- in short, there might be plenty of room at the Coffee Exchange, especially upstairs. They used to be open at night. Not sure about now.

Funny how when the defund movement started, the police response was a work slowdown. Since the spiteful slowdown of enforcement we've only gotten safer 😂
All we need to have historically low crime is to get rid of the dickhead ppd

views of the city:
-
Neutaconkanut Park
-
Prospect Terrace
-
Pedestrian Bridge
Honorable mention: Top of Federal Hill from Spruce St or Ridge St. I really like the sort of industrial view.

Favorite traffic island: intersection of Dodge St & Bridgham St. It's split in two, for a side street that no longer exists. Beautiful.

Marty Ballou brings an A-list trio (or more) most Tuesdays to Nick-A-Nee's. 8pm, free. Tips appreciated.
It's also Taco Tuesdays, and they're good. It's a "heavenly dive bar".
There's also jazz there on the 4th Sundays, 4-7pm.
The Royal Bobcat and Courtland Club are cool, but the music is better at Nick's.

Reply to Any good soul food spots or good food in general in Providence? Are there any low-cost activities that you recommend as well? by lovesocialmedia
Hit Gee Gees for traditional soul food. The District is another go to. The owner is black… the grits are killer good.

The ACLU is a former shell of itself… but the concerns are valid. Hopefully a more legitimate organization can write up an opinion.
