I recently checked my boyfriends ipad because of intuition and saw some exchanges between him and a coworker. I saw that she preps his lunch everyday for work. He stopped asking me to make stuff for him and told me he’s fine with his fruit and little snack until he comes home (he works 8 hours). Last night I made dinner and there were leftovers and I told him he had lunch to take with him and he turned it down and said he’s okay. I made a joke about it asking what’s changed and he nervously laughed and said oh I just found some oats in my job meanwhile the last time he took a meal to work he complained how they didn’t even have silverware so I’m sure they don’t have oats. I’m not sure if I’m being irrational but something just isn’t right to me.
update: we’re okay he said it’s not an everyday thing. it was only twice, she does it so she can come in late or so he can cover her while she sleeps in their lounge room during the whole shift.
