I am a 26 (M) and have been dating my girlfriend 27(F) for almost 6 months. Over the weekend she returned to the city where she had lived for the past 3 years to clear out her storage unit and reconnect with old friends. Before her trip, she mentioned maybe meeting her x of 6 years for lunch or dinner. She broke up with him less than a year ago and he is always reaching out making it known that he wants her back. After a discussion with her and telling her it wasn't up to me, she decided it was a bad idea. I reached out via text and asked how it was going and to my surprise, she mentioned she just had lunch with her x and that she was back at the storage unit clearing stuff out, and that she missed me. Do I have reason to be upset? It isn't sitting well and kind of feels like she went behind my back. Thought the relationship was going well. She recently signed a lease in the city we are in and has been making future plans. Feel weird asking Reddit but would like some unbiased advice since my friends and family love her. Thanks!
