I love my boyfriend very much. He is nothing but the best to me. However, at times his breathe absolutely reeks. It's stopped me from wanting to be intimate because it just smells so bad I can't even stand to be near his face.
He sometimes wonders why I don't want to kiss him and I don't even know how to say it's because his breathe stinks. It feels so immature in a way but it's becoming a problem in my eyes. And it’s not a constant problem but it does happen pretty often.
I've made comments before but he takes it as a joke or not that serious so it's not like I haven't tried... It may be halitosis so I don't want to bring it up if he can't really do anything about it in the moment & it only hurts his feelings.
I don't think a conversation would strain our relationship but i just don't know how to go about it. How serious or casual should I make the conversation? Should i sit him down and talk about it or just bring it up the next time it happens?
Any advice is appreciated
