I already posted this on another thread and have to leave out some details so I can post this on here (I‘m trying to get as much advice as possible).

So me (21 F) and my husband (23 M) have been married for almost a year. He is a workaholic and often detached/unresponsive. I’m very clingy and needy. I naturally have a very motherly and caring personality. In the household I‘m the one who cooks, does the grocery shopping, cleans the house, does the laundry, pay most of the bills and takes care of him and our pets etc. I do everything by myself. He never helps me out with anything (I forgot to mention, I work full-time). He’s very demanding and expects me to be a perfect wife. Last night we had a little discussion. I don’t remember in which context he has said the following, but he told me that "he wouldn’t have married me if I wasn’t pretty“ and I have never been more shocked and hurt. I asked him if he wouldn’t have married me for my personality only and he replied with "looks come first and the character follows". He also said that any man who says otherwise is lying.

So could anyone confirm if what he said is true? And have you had any experience with a partner like this? I really need advice.

[TL;DR] My husband wouldn’t have married me if i was ugly and never helps me out with any chores, doesn’t do anything romantic/special for me. I need advice.

Thank you for reading and answering in advance.
