I'm 23 and my boyfriend is 24. We have been dating for 2 years. Despite having a great relationship, one thing that was a point of contention involves my 10 year old cat. He would shout at her and I had to tell him to stop.
Yesterday, during movie night, my cat jumped onto his legs and he angrily threw him off. I just lost it and started throwing stuff at him and calling him a piece of shit for harming my cat. This continued until he drove off. At that time, I felt protective but when I told my mom what happened, she was livid at me and said he could press charges on me for abusing him.
How do I make it up to him?
