I (29M) have been married (38F) for 8 years and we’ve been in a loving happy relationship. We had our first kid 2 years ago, I was opposed to having our first child so early but I understood what it meant to her and powered through. I am the sole provider and work 12 hours a day 6 days a week, my family means everything to me but I made one mistake. One day after work my Wife was very tired of taking care of the baby and said i should take him out to the store to get some diapers and whatnot, I was already tired worked a long shift and begrudgingly agreed, I love my son I do, I went to the store with my child in the back and accidentally left him inside the car, It wasn’t a hot day in particular or anything but when I came back and realised what I had done I immediately drove to the hospital to get him checked, he seemed fine but I just had to be sure, on the way I called my Wife and told her and she didn’t believe it at first but then she started calling me all sorts of names which I understand why. After the hospital visit they told me nothing was wrong with him and he was perfectly fine, healthy for his age. This happened a year ago and my wife still brings it up in little arguments, I know what I did was wrong but nothing bad happened cause of it and I just want to move on but she won’t let it go. What do you guys think we should do moving foward

TLDR: Worked a long day, came home, took kid to store, left them in car, realised what happened, took them to hospital nothing wrong, wife mad, brings up all the time, want to move on
