Hi all. My wife clued me into this thread. I am currently running a D&D style campaign and am looking for more players. I run at 6pm on Wednesdays at my place. If you're interested, feel free to DM me.

Full disclosure, I'm not using the D&D 5th. edition rules and mechanics. I am using a game system reminiscent of the rules D&D used in the 70s and 80s ( what's referred to as a "retro-clone" of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons).

That aside, I've got a group of three players currently, but I'm always looking to add more. Hit me up if you're interested.

Currently, our heroes are exploring a collapsed moathouse. What dangers remain in the ruins? What treasures lie below? Come find out.

The gusts are likely to cause outages in areas prone to them, however, this isn’t Texas and DE maintains the infrastructure so that it still works in cold temperatures. It would still be in everyone’s best interest to be prepared for an outage just in case, but as another commenter said, if you’re seeing a lot of trucks it means they’re ready to restore power as quickly as they can.

Austin texpat here too! Always said RVA feels like Austin in the 90s when I was growing up. Carytown especially like south congress back then. Don’t want RVA to be like Austin today though

To be fair people get way too hungup on the winter. Everyone entirely ignores the most amazing summers ever. 70s, sunny, slightly breezy for like 2 straight months. Its summer nirvana. The humidity is null compared to the bullshit we deal with in RVA. In WI and MN you can actually spend all day, all summer long, outside and not be at risk of heat exhaustion. So much more to do when you aren't hiding from the sun like that level in Mario.

And winter is cold, yeah. We have heaters in buildings and cars for that. Its not like Richmonders spend a lot of time outside in winter. You only deal with the biting cold between the door of a building and door of your car. You have proper winter sports too if you dress right. Ice skating (also have indoor), snowshoe, cross country ski, ice fishing, snow mobile

Sorry y'all, I'm in Ireland. You're on your own this weekend! May I suggest checking out miss_elaine_neous on insta, she always posts weekend event lists in her stories on Thursdays/Fridays.
