I work for a company that’s a vendor for her company. We would come out for quarterly services and she is the rudest woman I’ve ever worked with. She may be sweet as pie to her paying customers but she treats everyone else like dog shit covered peasants.

Yeah I would just add to turn off you’re water if you’re going to be gone longer than a day or two, or can’t quickly drive home. Even in the summer. I have roommates for the time being. Their water heater was mounted in the ceiling of their condo. Not sure exactly what but some part malfunctioned and led to their condo flooding out. Luckily the neighbors saw it, but it was still too late. You never know what could happen and they would have saved themselves thousands of dollars in damages.

I tried natural recovery and my disc has slipped even further over the years so it’s just going to be an issue until I get the surgery. PT this time around made it worse, which was super disheartening because I loved my therapist. I ended up going to Ortho On Call when I couldn’t take the pain anymore and they set me on the right path to recovery. Steroids helped so much but I’m still not healed.

I’m most frustrated about the recovery process taking longer than I’d like because I do have some weight to lose and it’s difficult when I can’t exercise. Patience is my best ally at the moment!

Thanks for the response and I hope you have a great holiday and happy new year! ☺️

Thanks so much! I’m excited to get rid of this pain, but I’m trying to mentally prepare for recovering. Here’s to 2023 being a less painful year! Merry Christmas to you and have the happiness new year ☺️

Lesson learned!

I turned off a house's water for the first time just now :). With the help of youtube haha. Proud to say the water is off and now I can go back and enjoy my Friendsmas.

My heat pump couldn't keep up with the cold so now it's always running and keeping house 50 to 55 last night.

I was too worried and came back to check on the pipes. Everything looked good and I Googled how to turn off the water to my house so I don't have to worry anymore haha. I'm lucky the previous owners left their water key! Although they left it in the most strange place ever - the attic! You'd think it'd be in the garage!

Richmond city was a mess for the last few decades. Stoney has turned it around a bit, repaving roads, cleaning parks, and building the first schools in nearly a century, but the infrastructure is still ancient and he hasn’t the time or funds to rebuild it

I was shocked at how relatively (comparatively?) affordable the bras were there. I was expecting to pay like $70+ and the bra I got there I think was $50. Still a lot but for a good bra that you know fits, not too shabby.

Edit: At Kiss and Make Up

And your missing my nuance - the tax base started falling when the middle class residents moved out to the counties and industries moved out- that started back in the ~1960s/70s across the country to include Richmond. Cities had to adapt to the changing tax landscape - some did, many did not which includes Richmond. The inability to sufficiently manage the tax revenues that were available to them, irrespective of them being decreasing or increasing, is a management and leadership issue - not a tax base issue. The mismanagement likely cause further erosion to base for that matter. There is but one root cause - the rest are excuses for politicians.
