I agree. I like Blythe better. The owner of K&MU talked me into bras that ended up not fitting well. That said, both stores fitted me with the same size. I think the bras at K&MU are lower quality.

Genuine question - how are squirrels destructive?
& What is your weapon against them, pellet gun? Do they make a good stock or broth?

Son got a stomach ache and threw up this afternoon, so our plans got canceled and we watched ultimate beastmaster for a while. Hoping that he feels better tomorrow. I’m absolutely loving this weather. Wish it would stay like this all winter!

Have you gotten any of their other emails about the winter weather yesterday or the day before?

Exactly. Water is coming into the house VERY cold since the pipes are relatively close to the ground compared to the north east. Frost line can hit them for extended cold periods.
Also happy holidays Charles. Always good to see you here with the homeowner/landlord pro tips.

Also apparently depends what side of Meadow you're on. West of Meadow? Paved every year. East of Meadow? Every ten years. Just try driving down Park Ave between Meadow and Harrison.

They don’t bury the water pipes as deep in the south.
Frost line is/was much higher in VA, so they don’t/didn’t bury the pipes as deep compared to the northeast

I spent the day playing dwarf fortress to forget that my apartment has no running water. I'm hoping the problem just sort of takes care of itself, but... That's unlikely. At least there's a spare apartment I can use to shower and refill my gallon jug.

I reported it to Dominion! They said they'd send someone out.

In some places. But they delay the freeze and they just change the thermocline location they don't necessarily fix things

I've never seen a cat in a sweater, which i assumed was due to cats generally not being as compliant as dogs

No it works I'm not exactly sure what happened there. Though by works I don't mean it's foolproof or anything.
If you don't drain the system it's going to be a minor annoyance but balancing that against the likelihood I wouldn't bother and I don't. Turning the shut off so the city doesn't fill the place up with water is pretty key though

If the line from the city bursts, it'll dump until it's shut off tho, unless I'm missing something?

Ah, interesting. We just built our house about a year ago, so sounds like we're probably fine leaving it at 55 then.

Sorry to hear about your kid, I also hope he feels better. As for the weather, I enjoyed it for a few hours yesterday but I've been extremely done with it since then.
