Maybe volunteering as a greeter at VMFA? They might not be able to do coat check, but I think they could do the other roles. And the other volunteers tend to be seniors, so they'd get to know them during down times, especially if they volunteered for slow days like weekdays. https://vmfa.museum/support/volunteer/

until very recently I couldnt walk the dog without running into folks waving confederate flags and trying to goad me into arguments, it definitely flavored the environment

From the article you would think Richmond is stuck in the 1860's with a bunch of slave owners still. Jeesh. Is that really how big city people view us?
> Over the years, Richmond has drawn me back multiple times, each visit a deeper dive into Civil War history — with plenty of breaks for cramming in all the delicious food I can. On my most recent trip, as I scouted out museums, restaurants and historic neighborhoods, I was curious to feel the city’s pulse, to see how it was recovering.

That big area on the corner across from fallout that they’ve been working on..they knocked a line down. Went out for me too.

Thank you for posting this, I know about Fetch a Cure but didn’t realize they had a pet loss support group. Have you attended before - and did you find it helpful?

Same, I just want the owner of this property to suffer financially at this point. I hope they have to rejoin the work force to pay for all the repairs.

I’m not sure she knows about the movie, but I’ll definitely watch it! Barbies we’re a big part of my childhood.
I’ll probably try to sell it. We just bought a house here so are trying to save, and I was hoping for the replacement headphones that were on my list because mine are broken.

Movie is coming up summer 2023. I've never owned a Barbie in my life, but I think I might actually check out the movie. Bring it with you to the theater!

Not to sound ungrateful, because I got many wonderful and thoughtful presents. But my mom mailed me a f’ing Barbie. With no gift receipt. I’m in my mid thirties. I can’t decide if I should be mad, cry, or laugh. How nice she sent my husband the impact driver he had on his wishlist.
