The comments in that article are a wild ride. Looks like lots of blue blood Richmonders lamenting the loss of their precious monuments. I know a couple of people that fit that mold, but I don't ever hear these complaints in the circles I run in.

The huge winter market closed up on the 24th, but Studio Two Three's regular shop is my go-to for great locally made Richmond-themed stuff.

My dad sent me a book about the Illuminati. It made an excellent white elephant gift the next day.

If you live around Downtown, The Eatery's General Tsao is great. Plentiful, crispy on the outside and tender inside. Not the best I've had but the best close by.

This is a serious question and I'm not trying to be rude: do you mean Ginger as in a person who might work there or ginger as in the root?

This is probably the best route since OP won’t be using much for just the stove. I have propane now for my stove and tankless hot water heater. I’ve got a 120 gallon tank that only needs filling every 4-5 months. (And when I say filling it’s maybe 65 gallons put in.) And then you don’t have to deal with Richmond Gas Works which I can tell you from personal experience at my old house is a total shit show.

Until about two weeks ago there was a Confederate monument down the street from me. Until about two years ago there was a street named Confederate Ave just a few blocks from me.

The idea is nice, but when 99% of the dogs at the shelter are some sort of pit mix that are triggered by other dogs, cats, and kids, it really limits your options.
