It's a Man's World (100 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220) is a good bet. I got a cool blazer there for like $15, and it has a ton of consignment dress clothes for men (I think the owner said it was the largest men's consignment shop in VA? Or the only one? Something like that).

It's fancier (and typically pricier) than goodwill, but it's also better quality.

The Park just opened up in RVA - has bowling, bars, etc. Would be a fun place to check out for sure! The Jasper is doing their yearly Miracle on Cary, it's first come first serve and the line can be super long, but I've heard great things. Other than those two, you can always find something to do in Carytown or Scott's Addition area (River City Bowl, Circuit)

I interview people pretty frequently at work and beyond skill set, I really am just looking at how a person communicates, if they speak graciously about their current or former teammates, and their thoughts on working as part of a team. Our work is very team based regardless of position, and I need to know they can be happy being respectful of everyone on the team if they join us. Moral of the story- be pleasant to all. It makes work (and life) happier for everyone.

Don't know your budget, timeline, or how fancy you need to be but I've bought some decent deals on dress pants on sale at Kohl's and Target in the past. Costco actually has some decent pairs too.

Switch both to a provider you haven't had (or haven't had in a while). When Geico jacked my rate up to $135/mo (after years of clean driving history) I went to Progressive and Allstate for quotes -- both offered me something around $72/mo. It's just a stupid adult thing to have to shop around and change insurance companies yearly.

Catching a red-eye out of Seattle this evening. Flying United. Thoughts and prayers appreciated. Any troubles totally worth it to spend time with my west-coast family.

Interviews really are their own skill set. Often one that has nothing to do with the job at all. Good luck with whatever you are interviewing for!
