Adding Wax Moon to the list, because they're pretty great people too.

Thank you, very helpful! I may wander that way, despite Top Golf, ug.

Off the beaten path:
Dust on Westwood (across from gag TopGolf gag) had a really nice, albeit small, selection of classic albums in great shape for reasonable prices

Diamonds are bullshit.
Edit: I'll be clearer. The entire diamond industry is a giant load of bullshit and fuck all the vapid slaves who support it. Yes that means you. Oh yeah, "Someone please do free work for me." Fuck off with that.

Seriously! That could be a pretty traumatic question. If I answered that honestly in an interview the tone would get pretty dark, quick!

In addition to the other places mentioned here, I’ve seen cool stuff at Records & Relics in Church Hill. Happy hunting!

*complementary, unless you’re asking for places that charge to say nice things about your ring.

Thank you! It was a PR type role. I’m using past tense because when asked that question, shit-you-not, I blurted out “Oh, wow, we're really going here now?!”
His cute fishing expedition isn’t going to be so cute when someone says “My boss groped me and I handled it by not reporting them because I needed a paycheck.”

>I’ve been on a hot streak lately so no underwhelming meals to report. Would love to know everyone’s thoughts on Sprezza. The reviews I’ve seen are very conflicting. She did make a ballsy statement on a podcast where she said that there is no authentic Italian restaurants in Richmond. I thought that was tasteless but it sounds like her food is tasteless as well.
Went for the christmas eve dinner, we'd had the pop up at Helen's which I thought was great and the various other take out only pop ups over the last year, all of it was delicious, but the food in their new place was just bad. Weird vibes with a stark white dining room, clearly hasn't been touched at all since it was a steak house, and a front of house staff that seemed leaderless and confused most of the night.
Watching the kitchen, it seemed like since this was a set menu they were staging courses but things were backing up, they had no heat lamps to keep dishes warm, and were sending out mostly cold plates with underseasoned food. There was even a fairly public meltdown between a table, the chef in the window, and a couple of servers over something. Pretty awkward, 2/10 will not go back. Edo's and Dinamo are much better Italian no matter what she may say in google reviews.

Get news elsewhere, or if its something you really want to read from there climb a tall ladder, like one that's over 11 feet.

I was asked the same question a zillion different ways. It was like the personality tests I taken as an applicant and reviewed when I was hiring for my team. At some point you will drop the whole “I want to be a farmer” and reveal “I actually hate animals.”

Reply to Best Car Insurance Rates Lately?? by kmblake3
I work in car insurance - definitely take the time to call around and get quotes. It’s a pain but right now most companies are raising rates due to the rising cost of repairs and parts, rising value of used cars, etc., along with trying to recover profit from the last couple of years (most companies held off on cancelling policies for non-payment because of the pandemic).

Go talk to Joe over at Sycamore Jewelers. They have (or used to, check) a program where you see pieces you like, they add it to your list, and your SO can come in and buy what you've already picked out. NOT a chain, LOCAL owners.

There are some stories, especially about state and local politics. But not enough to justify the price.
