The airport traffic control tower might have a good view. Or from the top of the Henrico Public Disposal landfill.

I live in the city, Shockoe specifically. I can walk to the hospital from my condo (don't need to though, cuz I don't actually work there). I've got a small yard for my mini dogs, but they still need to be walked to get the real exercise. I've lived in Chesterfield, but I think living in the city is more enjoyable. There's just more to do easily. Plus you get that fun game of where will I find parking today?

Do It!!! The tickets for that venue go on sale tomorrow at 10AM, and if you play your cards right you can spend a long weekend with them ;)

Could even take the train up to Baltimore and avoid traffic, they have coach tickets right low as low as 17 bucks one way on June 1st...

On a very clear day you can see the Richmond skyline from the top of the Eiffel Tower at Kings Dominion.

It's a golden skillet...it's not gourmet. I've only ever gotten fried chicken but it's fine for what it is.

There’s a glimpse of a couple of high rises traveling westwardly on Creighton road just before turning left onto Cedar Fork Road. Wouldn’t call it the skyline view but it’s somethin
Edit: actually I don’t think that’s the exact spot, it may be a tad bit east of that but I just can’t recall the exact side road…or maybe it is? Idk, it’s Creighton though i know that much

Yeah I thought there was absolutely no way, but I specifically remember somebody mentioning that they used to be able to see downtown from a certain there years ago.
Utretch t1_j52ejag wrote
You definitely cannot see the skyline from Mechanicsville, old town is in the Chickahominy river valley and new town is even further away.

They're also playing at The Lyric in Baltimore on June 1st. Still my favorite time seeing them was after Conditions of My Parole was released. I happened to be in Portland OR when their tour stopped there, and the entire show was just them playing songs and doing comedy skits, which was freakin' amazing. The second leg of their tour stopped in Richmond a few months later and I took my buddy, but it was a standard tour format with a few opening bands, but none of the skits. Still had a great time though...

So I read some recent google reviews of the Sandston location, and they are not good. I think that the Golden Skillet that I had in my youth is nothing like these remaining Golden Skillets t, so it's probably best if I skip it. Thanks for everyone's feedback.

They used it as a justification as to why they no longer had security, despite them saying they had hired security without saying it was only for the summer.

What does that mean? Did this leasing agent really expect tenants to personally pay for security?

I have never been to a Golden Skillet, however there is a location at the corner of Hull St and Turner Rd in North Chesterfield.
