My husband is! Zyrtec not really helping. Funny thing is that I usually get the killer allergies, not him… must be something that doesn’t usually get me.

I have year-round allergies and I've been having mild symptoms this past week. Headaches and coughing mostly.

I love Vionics, too.

I keep thinking I’m getting a cold or some other crud, but it’s been a week now, and I think maybe it’s just allergies. I’m normally a spring/fall sufferer, but I’ve had the headache, eye crud, and drippy nose like I do with allergies.

Yes! My eyes have felt really tired and like there is fluid trapped around them. I hope you find relief soon.

For a long term solution to the question of “where should I hike today, I strongly recommend getting the 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles of Richmond book. It is really well written and my go to resource.

Surely not many people can afford that, right? I mean, yes, there are some people who make good money, but you can't tell me someone who's making slightly more than minimum wage can afford a $500 electricity bill in addition to all other expenses?
I mean, we only had about 8 really cold days back go back and everyone's bill went from $75-$100 on average to about $300-400. Now imagine what would happen if we had those same cold days for 27 out of 30 days? That same bill would be $1,200.

No smart meter. Just plain old meter that I've always had

It's a massive lot, with all of those stations throughout. It looks like a point for evacuations 😂. "the busses for the relocation camps will arrive shortly"

Update: Unfortunately I have another male dog heading this way for dog sitting time so I couldn’t hold onto this dude. Fortunately RACC just came by and scanned him and he has a chip. He has departed from my control.
If this is your dog and you’re reading this…get this boy fixed!

Yeah this is the second one that’s come to my backyard. We rehomed the other one, and I think he’s now fixed. I think my two gals attract em from miles around. My girls are fixed though. Fix em folks!

And this is one of the reasons all pounds are full of pits. There are more than enough pits around, I wish we could stop the backyard breeding.

Doesn’t respond to Tiko. I’ve been calling him Onion, but he doesn’t respond to that well either.

As are people when they don’t have more taxes. Many people who cry about taxes are also crying that there aren’t enough schools.

Yesterday (Sat) we were anticipating a nightmare drive between Otterdale and 288. There was actually almost no traffic on the road…sweet! Then, every single light turned red as the previous light turned green and we approached the next one. It would have been impressive if it wasn’t so annoying. You just can’t win on that stretch, I’m convinced.
Edited for clarification

I’m a huge fan of vionics - slippers, sandals, dress shoes, casual slip-on tennis shoes. I have to order from Zappos or Amazon. They’ve helped me recover from plantar fasciitis, so they’re all I wear. Which reminds me that I need new slippers and new tennies.

That kinda looks like my neighbor's dog Tiko, but I'm not sure. He gets out all the damn time, but Edgewood and Laburnum seems too far from home for him. That dog might be bigger than Tiko but it's hard to tell, also can't recall Tiko's exact coloring. Ask if his name is Tiko (pronounced teeko). If he responds positively and enthusiastically, DM me and I'll give you an address to return him to. I'll see if I can find out a little later if Tiko's at home.
I don't think it's him, Tiko normally has a collar, he just never has tags.

Part of the problem can be they were estimating your usage and did an actual meter reading. It should show on your bill either way. You can also request a reread. If you had a smart meter installed this is what seems to happen. The older meters were not operating accurately in some instances.

We have our account on a budget plan so it is the same amount all year long. It gets adjusted every six months up or down. Same for gas. It makes it easier to have a monthly expense budget.
