I never saw it in person before it was restored, but the pics look wild!

It really is a beautiful place. I always feel such a calm/peaceful vibe when I visit there. I don’t understand how people could deface it. Pretty sad.

yeah. people hate to admit it but an entry camera can create amazing photos with a bit of trickery

the amount of people who spend 1000+ on a phone with a fancy camera and dont really know how to use it is kinda annoying. spending the extra seconds to adjust exposure and composition makes something go from “oh cool” to “wow thats awesome!”

Not sure what type of cancer, but I know the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has some support groups and other caregiver programs: https://www.lls.org/support-resources/caregiver-support. So does ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation: https://www.askccf.org/family-support.html. A non-profit affiliated with your family's diagnosis or even the American Cancer Society may have options. I am sorry you and your family are experiencing this.

Please check with te cancer center where they are getting treated. The case manager or the oncologist’s nurse would be able to get you this information.

The last time I remember seeing the mayday report on active calls (maybe a year and a half ago), it turned out the officer hit the button by accident. It's like a panic button rather than a verbal command into the radio.

> Henrico County police officer Timothy Grant Million III was indicted on a voluntary manslaughter charge by a grand jury in February after killing Tony Elliot Singleton, a 53-year-old man from Norfolk, after a car crash along Interstate 64 in eastern Henrico.
>According to police, Million responded to a single-vehicle crash along I-64 and east of Interstate 295 on Nov. 6, 2021, after authorities received a report of a car that flipped multiple times.
>Timothy Million shot Singleton “during an encounter” after responding to the crash, police said last year without providing any other details.
>Timothy Million is still on paid leave.

Definitely second this! I called last week and was able to get matched with a therapist that sounds like a good fit, and was able to make an appointment within the week. They were really helpful in searching for a therapist that met my needs which I had trouble doing on their website. Calling is harder but probably worth it if you can!

will you please let me know if it's being vandalized a lot and if a specific section is being targeted? I have relatives buried there and I live outside the country now. I want to know if I should be sending someone to check things out and repair. thank you. So sad to hear this.

Massey provides a packet full of resources including support groups and though I can't recall if they are family/friends inclusive it doesn't seem unreasonable to assume that—cancer format dependent—there wouldn't be some variety of therapeutic safety net available to the extended network of the individual.

I’m not sure of any support groups in town, but I’m here if you wanna chat. My dad got diagnosed with stage 4 colon almost two years ago and it’s been a time for sure.
