Just fluids and rest, for me. I took supplemental vitamin D but I don't really know of it helped. It seems a little different for everyone that gets it. My second round I had horrifying congestion that my cold medicine did not even begin to touch, but that phase was over after a day.

If you're heading west in the Franklin St bike lane and want to go down Grace after crossing Belvidere, since the bike lane ends and Franklin is a one way eastward, it sucks. Just trying to go west from there in general is "fun". The Main St to Broad corridor on Belvidere brings out the crazy and two of these intersections are on the list.

The amount of times I’ve been honked at by a dumbass driver that thinks they have the right of way because their light is green when I have the ā€œgreenā€ light to walk is insane. It should go without saying that a vehicle is to yield to pedestrians, but sadly it don’t be like that.

It varies tremendously. I've noticed with more mainstream stuff the lines seem worse. People get there pretty early and more closely together and it creates a backup. Getting there a bit early for those is good. I don't agree with another comment that you need to get there before first opener though, never seem it be THAT bad. Hippie jam band shit, people roll up whenever and it's more staggered. Some acts prompt a much more invasive search protocol it seems. These are just general points, it really does vary.

I will say I've gone to the National on average once a month or more for almost 11 years and things move a lot faster than they used to. Rarely is the line as long as it used to get and the process is more efficient, even with the metal detectors. That may have even helped in some ways, as I rarely see pat downs anymore.

It would be helpful to create crosswalk buttons/signs that actually do something. There are too many crosswalk signs that tell pedestrians to walk at the same time drivers get green lights to turn. It would be better if they either create warning lights like HAWK beacons, or if the timing made more sense

If anybody can answer, I have a follow up question. I’m going to see They Might Be Giants at the National in March, and I haven’t been to see a band live in MANY years. Never been to the National. Doors open at 7, and they start at 8 with no opener. I have a seat, so I don’t have to find a good spot. When should I get there?
