Go to a local market/festival and there will usually be vendors. A vendor was actually handing out business cards at the VMFA one Friday evening earlier when it was warm out. They want business, so they're going to be where the people are. Good luck!

Kinda missing the point if the symbol that indicates inclusivity is not allowed lol

Do you think the people that regulation is targeted towards would actually abide that regulation? There’s almost no way you can enforce this unless police randomly raid cars or houses.

So now we only associate rainbows with the LGBTQA+ (hope I included everyone) community? Like I'm straight, don't have a problem with others, but I do love a rainbow. They're pretty

I'm sure they all considered themselves "responsible gun owners" too.

That whole trope was just nonsense. I'm convinced some of these people are clinically delusional

There is a bill in the GA this session, I expect the R's will kill it though if it makes it out of the Senate.

I think it was Pete Humes who said (in the shortlived, but delightfully spicy, Brick periodical) "there are two things that journalists hone in on; fear, and weather, and it's almost ecstatic joy when they can combine them on a single topic..."
That's had space in my brain for a long time and I think about it periodically.

This might not be the one, but this is still par for the course here.
Every year around this time I start to think we’re not getting any snow, but then I’m proven wrong in February or March.

The Williamsburg Pottery used to be awesome. I remember it as a weird collective of glass blowers, pottery makes, people selling mall ninja swords, and random hippies with patchouli and other things that probably passed way above my head.
What it is now is just... weird and sad.

This will continue to get worse as the inequality gap widens here. Cars are super easy targets, and we clearly have people living in the city who do not want to believe that Richmond is indeed a city. Don't leave anything in sight in your vehicle, don't leave it running while you're away from it, don't be dumb. If you have a Kia/Hyundai on the Kia Boys shit list, lock it down or trade it in, because it's a matter of time before it's disappearing.
The police don't eliminate this issue in any city, let alone richmond.

Same. I thought for sure the entire law enforcement world was going to converge on me the first time I used one of the Instagram services. It's been totally fine. Really nice people too.
Edit: before I get DMs asking who I use, these relationships are fragile af. Can't share that with strangers on the web unfortunately.

I'm hoping for snow at some point this winter. At least make it feel like this cold weather is worth it so I can make snowballs or a snow person or sled at least once this season.
But, so far, 2/10 does not give me hope that we'll see it next week.

But I thought RVA was becoming the murder capital of the world last year according to Reddit and the media?! Like worse than the 70s and 80s.
Is it because there are less cops out there?

Does anyone know someone in the legal profession I could talk to. I never received any bills because DPU sent it to my old address. Apparently the city of Richmond says that they haven't received any water bill payments in 18 months but I've been paying my landlord was supposed to be paying that. Water bill is handled per the lease by the landlord...
Now one was giving me estimates into the month range, I was wondering about putting money in escrow or something.
